Ojai Off-Grid Retreat

ConstructionOjai, CA (2025)

Total energy overhaul on a remote 40-acre Ojai estate — replacing a failing system, expanding the power grid, and adding two off-grid tiny homes.

Full System Replacement

The existing 8.5KW solar array and aging battery system were failing under the property's growing demands. We replaced both entirely: a new 12KW ground-mount solar array feeds directly into a 32KW EG4 battery block, backed by a heavy-duty generator. The estate is now completely energy self-sufficient.

Grid Expansion & Tiny Homes

We trenched a new electrical sub-grid across the property and hard-wired two custom tiny homes into the system. Each structure functions as a fully independent remote workspace, powered entirely by the new EG4 reserve.
