Ojai Off-Grid Retreat
Total energy overhaul on a remote 40-acre Ojai estate — replacing a failing system, expanding the power grid, and adding two off-grid tiny homes.
Full System Replacement
The existing 8.5KW solar array and aging battery system were failing under the property's growing demands. We replaced both entirely: a new 12KW ground-mount solar array feeds directly into a 32KW EG4 battery block, backed by a heavy-duty generator. The estate is now completely energy self-sufficient.
Grid Expansion & Tiny Homes
We trenched a new electrical sub-grid across the property and hard-wired two custom tiny homes into the system. Each structure functions as a fully independent remote workspace, powered entirely by the new EG4 reserve.

The new 12KW ground-mount solar array — replacing the failing 8.5KW system and delivering clean, reliable power across the entire 40-acre property.

Both custom tiny homes in place across the property — hard-wired into the new electrical sub-grid and backed by 32KW of EG4 battery storage.

Inside the centralized power enclosure: EG4 GridBoss inverter paired with dual EG4 battery units — the beating heart of the new off-grid system.

One of the two tiny homes perched on the ridge — corrugated steel cladding, full electrical hookup, and sweeping views of the Ojai valley.

The original 8.5KW solar array — outdated, undersized, and failing. Fully decommissioned and replaced as part of this project.
