Topanga Ranch Solar & Battery

EnergyTopanga, CA (2025)

Post-fire energy build on a Topanga horse ranch — custom solar canopy, dual battery stack, and smart panels that cut the Edison bill automatically.

Solar Canopy & Battery Stack

We built a custom structural steel solar canopy to house a 10KW ground-mount array — covered storage below, power generation above. Dual PointGuard Energy battery units sit directly under the panels, charged continuously and capable of sustaining the ranch through multi-day outages.

TOU Optimization on Autopilot

A Span smart panel ties everything together. It charges batteries during off-peak hours and automatically draws from storage during peak SCE rate windows — cutting the monthly utility bill without any manual input. Outage protection and ongoing bill savings in a single system.
